Licensing overview |
No client licensingThe exciting part about using the Report Excelerator is that Client's get to access their reports for free. In addition there is no restriction on the number of clients that can have there reports delivered by the ReportEcelerator. The ReportExcelerator distributes the reports in common formats such as text files, web pages, email and Excel workbooks. These outputs allow the user to select a format that enables them to read and manipulate reports with a minimum license fee. Reports can be exported to multiple formats and can be printed to any network printer. For example, users don't need to have Excel installed. If the report is published to the web not only can users easily find it and be guaranteed their peers are looking at the same information, all that user will need is a web browser to interact with the data. Microsoft Excel or expensive third party addins are not required. No designer licensingOften users will have to pay for expensive license fees to access a specialist report designer. With the ReportExcelerator this is not the case as the user simply creates the standard report with Microsoft Excel and any number of data addins that are most likely already in use within the enterprise. There are no license fees for additional report designers. Simple Administration licensingThe Report Excelerator is used by system administrator to configure how the reports are deployed to end-users throughout the enterprise. The installation is an application that accepts completed Excel reports from end users and automatically distribute them to multiple users through out the enterprise. The Report Excelerator server comes in a single package which is licensed for the server which it is installed on. Evaluation licensingWithin evaluation mode the software is only registered for a period of 10 days, with a limit of 5 reports. When the evaluation version is upgraded to the full license any development performed in evaluation mode can be used. A full license allows an unlimited number of reports from the licensed computer. |
